As you can see from the images above, I now only need 18 hours to complete “Stage 1” of the challenge, and that will be taking place in the next 2 days. These past few days I’ve just been doing research even though I’d initially planned on hunting, but I figured I use this remaining time for more research because in “Stage 2” there’ll be no time for research, just hacking.
During my research today, I came across “CVE-2024–4040” and I remembered that I came across the target program’s endpoints that might be vulnerable to this, so tomorrow I’ll be spending my time hunting for this vulnerability on the target.
